The Special Rapporteur, Professor James Anaya, will hold individual meetings with representatives of indigenous peoples and organizations during the tenth session of the United Nations Permanent Forum on Indigenous Issues, in New York. The meetings will be held from 18 to 20 May 2011. Representatives of indigenous peoples and organizations may request a meeting with him with regard to matters that fall within his mandate, including allegations of human rights violations.
