Focus: This issue of Youth Flash features an article that offers an overview of the System-wide Action Plan on Youth (Youth-SWAP) that emerged from the Secretary-General’s five year action agenda on youth. Youth-SWAP is developed by the United Nations Inter-agency Network on Youth Development (IANYD) taking into account inputs from young people through a consultative process participated by over 13,500 respondents. This issue also embodies information on youth activities from UN entities, UNIC and youth organizations.

Inter-Agency Network on Youth

The United Nations Inter-Agency Network on Youth Development (IANYD) is a network consisting of UN entities, represented at the headquarters level, whose work is relevant to youth. The aim of the Network is to increase the effectiveness of UN work in youth development.
